Mirkverb

Description

Mirkverb is a lovingly crafted collection of physically modelled impulse responses inspired by the locations of J.R.R. Tolkien’s legendarium. It contains over 80 impulse recordings including individual left and right stereo files, combined stereo files, and true stereo quad files. It includes both front and rear microphone positions, allowing you to make full use of almost any high quality surround sound convolution reverb application or plugin.

Using proprietary physical modelling software we are able to create highly realistic impulse responses of imaginary places. For this collection we studied floor plans, illustrations, written descriptions, maps, and paintings of ten locations in Tolkien’s world and created a beautiful set of impulse responses with which to immerse your music.
